Meet Elva

Greetings Friends!!

I am Elva Lopez-Zepeda and I am running for Sweetwater Union High School Districts Trustee Area 3. I am running for the office for Sweetwater-Trustee Area 3 because I know that I can  make a difference to the youth of the community.  My professional and personal experiences provide me with a unique understanding of the workings of a school district. 

I have been a teacher for over 30 years, currently in my 35th year of teaching. I know that I can bring a much needed perspective to the district’s leadership. As a teacher and a parent of two children who attended schools in the district. I am motivated to work with parents, teachers, and students to bring changes that will improve our schools.

I hope I can count on your vote so that I can start making a difference for ALL students in our community.
